Ann has been working with the School Council at Runnymede St. Edward’s this term to develop pupil voice in the school. We worked on formation of the school councillors, looking at the skills and job of a school councillor and culminated a 6-week programme with a live on-line lesson from the houses of parliament. We look forward to hearing the great impact that we know the wonderful students elected to be leaders of the School Council in Runnymede will make on improving their school for all. O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
