Ann will accompany two staff from the English schools on an adult immersion to South Africa this summer. St Mary’s College and St Aidan’s Catholic Academy are both sending a staff member. As part of the visit, we will be visiting CBC Mount Edmund in Pretoria and also
working with the Justice Desk. It is hoped that St Mary’s College will then begin an immersion programme through the Justice Desk.
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
