After seven incredible years as Deputy Headteacher, it is both a privilege and an honour to now lead St Anselm’s College as Headteacher. St Anselm’s is truly a remarkable place, with an ethos and culture that are unparalleled. As a proud member of the Edmund Rice network, I’ve been fortunate to actively engage in both school life and the wider network through transformative experiences that have shaped my perspective and strengthened my commitment to our mission.

My first term has been nothing short of extraordinary, filled with vibrant activities, inspiring guest speakers, exciting trips, and countless “firsts” that have left a lasting impression on me. Every moment reinforces what makes our College so special – a community deeply rooted in its unique Catholic identity and the Edmund Rice ethos. Where, every interaction and every decision is guided by the eight essentials and values that foster an environment where students are empowered to grow, excel, and become their best selves.

Leading an Edmund Rice College is about more than just policies and procedures – it’s about people, relationships, and the collective power of community. It’s about nurturing our students to overcome challenges with resilience, celebrating their achievements, and preparing them to step into the world as compassionate, confident, and purpose-driven individuals. Most excitingly, it’s about seeing them return as inspiring role models who uplift and motivate the next generation of Anselmians, carrying forward the vison of Blessed Edmund Rice.

As I embrace this role, I do so with great passion and a clear vision: to shape futures, unlock potential, and ensure that every student who walks through our doors leaves not just as a scholar but as an Anselmian for life. This is more than a career; it’s a calling, and I am deeply honoured to serve this incredible community, to achieve extraordinary things!
