We enjoyed a wonderful Edmund Rice England Schools’ Conference this term: Changing Lives; One Day, One Child at a Time. Our speakers Jaz Ampaw-Farr and Paula Bacchiella from Flexi Schools Edmund Rice Education Australia and our wonderful students who lead our Edmund Rice camps were truly inspiring. We know that education and especially Edmund Rice education is transformational and today that message rang loud and clear as to how the time and effort we give to those who feel excluded really can make the biggest difference. #educationasachristiancalling
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
