Brother Noel Denis O’Halloran. May he rest in peace.
Brother O’Halloran (b. 18.2.1923 – d.18.1.2018) aged 94
Brother O’Halloran grew up in Limerick, Ireland and joined the Christian Brothers in 1937, making Final Profession of Vows in 1948. His first teaching assignment was in Prior Park College, Bath and others in Liverpool and Birkenhead where he became Headmaster, other Heradmasterships were in the Catholic Sixth Form College, Orrell and St. Mary’s College Crosby.
He was for many year a Consultor of the Provincial Council of Christian Brothers in England and retired to Woodeaves, hale Barns in Autumn of 2010. The need for nursing meant going to the Augustinan Sistes’ nursing home at Ince Blundell Hall, near Liverpool where he died peacefully on Wednesday 18th January 2018.
Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord.
