English schools have been joined by Edmund Rice schools in the US, Uruguay, the Centro Manolo in Bolivia, and 2 schools in India to prepare their statement. the statement covers our concerns for the environment locally and nationally as well as precise demands from the leaders and policy makers at COP26. The full statement ill be available publicly to read in both Spanish and English.
The office also continues to create and publish the Edmund Rice Family Global Journey to COP26, contributed to by the regional spirituality team as well as ERI. it is chance for the whole global community to join a common lifestyle change , a campaign action and a common reflection about the Earth.
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
