It has been fantastic to be part of the organising group involving schools in partnership with Edmund Rice International. We had 95 participants from 5 continents at the Youth Ambassadors Global Meet on Monday 21st October. Hearing about the social justice and advocacy work being done by Youth Ambassadors and their Justice Societies was truly inspiring. From service outreach work in the community, to global advocacy campaigns, caring for the most vulnerable and championing Earth Rights, there is great, change-making work going on in our Edmund Rice schools, work being driven by the enthusiasm and compassion of students. We look forward to hearing how collaboration continues to grow amongst the partner schools and ERI. Read the full write-up in the November issue of the ERI Newsletter.
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
