The Religious Orders in Education Charism group continue to meet, share ideas and practice, and to offer collaborative support to our schools. Our termly ‘Chaplains’ Chat’ took place on Wednesday 28th February, the theme was ‘Support’. During the session, we explored and shared the ways and means Chaplains can receive support in their challenging and varied role. As usual, the main body of the meeting was dedicated to breakout groups where participants can get to know one another and network. We were joined by a good number of staff involved in Chaplaincy from a variety of orders. if you would like to access the materials of this session, or any of our Chaplaincy resources, please feel free to consult the Chaplaincy Padlet.
Our Chaplains’ Chat in the summer term will take place on Wednesdays 8th May at 4-5pm via Zoom. The theme is ‘Networking’.
Our Charism group will hold a face-to-face strategy meeting in the summer in London to discuss our future work and plans.
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
