Donations for Ukraine

This term Ms Madden and Mrs Lennon dropped off essential items that had been donated
by the College staff at the Polish centre in Liverpool. Donations for Ukrainians were leaving
for Poland that day. Helping the people of the Ukraine has been our focus during Lent and
we thank all our boys and families for their tremendous support.

St Anselm’s SVP

The SVP society of St Anselm's College were busy in raising money to buy Christmas
presents and other essential items for local families in need. Students dropped the gifts off
at the SVP Centre in Birkenhead so that the gifts could be delivered to families in in need.

Rocking for Ukraine at St Anselm’s College

On Friday 25 th March we held a music festival in the College. The aim of the concert was to
raise money to support refugees in Ukraine. The concert started at 1pm and lasted about 40
minutes. Three student bands performed: TomandHarry, Dylan Joe Jack and the Bass Player
and Gabriel Roberts. £160 was raised from the concert but the College has raised over
£1000 so far and we are continuing to hold charity events to raise money for those suffering
as a result of the conflict in Ukraine. It was a wonderful opportunity to use our talents to
raise money for those in need and we hope to hold more events like this in the future.
