All Saints Day
On 1st November, the whole school took part in Mass for the Feast of All Saints, with other members of the community at St Helens Church. Students said prayers and we thought of those who are no longer with us. It was a time of reflection and celebration of our saints.
Thank you to Fr Martin Caddell for saying Mass for us, and thanks and well done to our pupils for your exemplary behaviour and respectful participation in the service, which was commented on by several parishioners.
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
