This term, our children have enjoyed reaching out and being a part of different Edmund Rice
led activities. The whole school took part in an art project to welcome refugees to our
country. They designed postcards with the theme of Liverpool. There were some wonderful
designs and each postcard had a welcome message on it. They are looking forward to
personally handing over the postcards.
Jack, Lilly, Seraphina, Sonia and Sophia from our school council and fundraising group went
live on Radio Maria in a broadcast to talk about the art project. It was all part of ‘Life
Lessons with Edmund Rice’;. It was a wonderful experience for them and they can’t wait to

The whole school also enjoyed a well-being session where they learnt some techniques to
help find their inner calm and their connection to nature.
Harry, Holly, Louis and Bella took part in the COP27 youth workshop and found really
interesting listening to participants from countries all over the world as they shared their
pledges and future hopes for our world.
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
