We are currently looking for up to 20 people from our English schools to participate in the Strengthening Families training programme which will take place 21-23 June at St Ambrose College. Jamie and Alison from Ascert in Belfast will come over to conduct the training.
A Co-ordinator (leader) will train for 3 days and the facilitators for 2. It will cost in the region of £200 per person.
This is an excellent opportunity to improve outcomes for teenagers and to improve communication in all families. The positive impact of just completing the training on teachers and other adults working with young people will be enormous; there is a huge amount to learn for all of us from this programme about how we can improve relationships and help young people through a very difficult developmental stage of their lives.
