So good to see many of the Edmund Rice Schools taking part in the Students Rebuild Art for Refugees project. By learning about the global refugee crisis and how we can be a locally welcoming community, students in our schools are creating art and each piece submitted raises $5.
This project runs until June, so keep learning, creating and fund-raising.
O God, we thank you for the life of Edmund Rice.
He opened his heart to Christ present in those oppressed by poverty and injustice.
May we follow his example of faith and generosity.
Grant us the courage and compassion of Edmund as we seek to live lives of love and service.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
